About LadyLucks Casino :

Roll up, roll up - LadyLucks was one of UK’s first-ever mobile casinos, bursting onto the scene way back in 2008.

Nowadays, it's also available cross-device. Run by UK’s Probability - AKA, a known UK-mobile games specialist - LadyLucks tapped into the growing internet-enabled mobile phone - ‘smartphone’ market - and has been enjoying its time in the sun ever since.

There are 3 promotions available at the LadyLuck site, and these are:

  • A welcome bonus
  • A free spins offer, which appears to be weekly
  • Extra cash bonuses every week

What’s there works - but we were still slightly miffed that that’s all we saw - nowadays, online casinos are usually chockablock with promotions, so this seemed just a tad stingy.

Range of Casino Games

LadyLucks has a great games selection

As mentioned above, LadyLucks was first and foremost a mobile-only casino - revolutionary for its time, and riding the wave of the smartphone boom. Nowadays, it's expanded its reach to operate an all-device enabled casino - the desktop site looks ok, as does the tablet version.

Which leads us onto the games available. There are:

  • 128 slot games to play with a plethora of popular options including Gonzo’s Quest, Starburst, Guns N’ Roses and Immortal Romance. We could see there were progressive jackpot slots (Mega Moolah) and video slots but we didn't catch any classic slots there - and there are no helpful filters to help you find these yourself. Additionally, not all of the providers offered (we’ll get onto who they are in a moment) included their full back catalogue of games… or even the most popular choices. Strange.
  • 8 games of roulette, including European Roulette, French Roulette and some classic versions with a twist, such as American Roulette Gold Series and Double Ball Roulette.
  • 7 games of blackjack with the usual single deck blackjack, classic blackjack and some new, interesting variants - 6 in 1 Blackjack, Blackjack Pro and more.

Other Offerings

Currently, LadyLucks offers online casino only.

Software and Graphics

Here’s the thing: LadyLucks uses a wide variety of software providers to power their games, including:

  • NetEnt
  • Microgaming
  • Quickspin
  • NextGen
  • Thunderkick
  • Pragmatic Play
  • Elk Studios
  • Leander
  • Lightning Box
  • Big Time Gaming
  • Rabcat
  • Genesis
  • Core Gaming
  • Just For The Win
  • Foxium

...among others.

What’s nice is that players can easily search for their favourites software provider's games by using the handy dropdown tool - but (and there is a massive BUT), some of the providers’ games you’d expect to see aren't there.

For example, when we select Microgaming games, we’re shown the casino has Mega Moolah (obviously), Emoticoins, Thunderstruck II and a few others….but we were surprised not to see more. The same happened with NetEnt games, which was far better stocked, but also had some surprising choices of games excluded.

Having said all that, we really liked the idea that there was variety, even though the specific games included did confuse us a bit. We also appreciate that we had the ability to choose and filter according to software provider.

LadyLucks on mobile

Regarding graphics, this is where it becomes obvious that LadyLucks was a mobile-first casino. The mobile version looks great - there’s a lovely blue sky background on the homepage, and everything looks clean and mobile optimised. The games play really nicely too, and everything is fine and dandy…

….until we get to the desktop version which, for lack of a better word, is not as ‘optimised’ as the mobile version - which is pretty weird for us to have to write, as it's usually the other way around. Yes, everything is in all of the right places, and there’s still that bluish background from the mobile version, but - other than the games, which will look great on any device - the desktop experience looks ‘good enough’, if not a bit of an afterthought.

Extra Value

LadyLucks is known among fans and players as having very quick withdrawals - which is always a massive plus, in our books and for players. Having said that, the withdrawal options are a tad limited - see the ‘Payout Policy’ section for further details.

Loyalty or VIP Programme:

We couldn't find any details about the VIP programme anywhere - on the mobile version, tablet version or desktop version - and we contacted live support to ask if there was a VIP programme available, but they never replied to our live chat.

Customer Support

Be warned - if you want to get in touch with the casino via live chat, you need to be logged in to do so.

The casino currently offers live chat support (available in English only), which we waited to be answered for over 10 minutes….and which wasn’t answered in that time.

Otherwise, there's a UK internet-based landline and an email address to contact. LadyLucks also has social media profiles - although not on Facebook.

Who Can Play?

There’s no official information available on this, but it seems like only UK-based players are accepted, and only English is supported for playing.

LadyLucks is licensed by the Gibraltar Gaming Authority, based in Gibraltar.

Bottom Line

The very fact that LadyLucks is mobile-first is impressive. What’s less impressive is that there’s no way to contact them for a quick answer (our live chat was ignored), and that there’s no clear information regarding their (lack of) a VIP programme. For a casino which claims to be ‘Britain’s Favourite’, that’s a bit shocking.

Otherwise, it works beautifully on mobile, has a few nice promotions and a good selection of games - we’d recommend LadyLucks as a solid mobile casino choice.
